Crusades Continue In Nigeria

… the drums of Christian, Muslim hate still beating strong

Two days of fighting, estimated 400 people dead, shops, homes, mosques and churches burned, Christians and Muslims doing what they do best, all blamed this time on differences over an election, but we know better. This type of Middle-Eastern religious evilness and murderous insanity has been with us for over 2,000 years.

I’m so glad the Middle-Eastern religions have brought us peace, understanding, compassion, forgiveness, and love, aren’t you?

“Know them not by their words, but by their deeds.”

Kentucky, Where Art Thou Sanity?

State Rep. Tom Riner, the raving lunatic and dishonest salesmanSouthern Baptist shyster minister instrumental in establishing a requirement requiring the Kentucky Homeland Security office's initial duty to be that of stressing the dependence on Almighty God as being vital to the security of the Commonwealth is happy forcing his ideas of religion down the throats of the people of Kentucky. "The safety and security of the Commonwealth cannot be achieved apart from reliance upon Almighty God…this is recognition that government alone cannot guarantee the perfect safety of the people of Kentucky," Riner said lied. "Government itself, apart from God, cannot close the security gap. The job is too big for government."

Is this the same God that allows terrorists attacks and other evils to succeed? Or, is this a different God who gets the credit? If it’s a different God, how many Gods are there? If it’s the same God, then why give credit to such an evil, blood-thirsty excuse for a deity?

Oh, Tom, ignorance be they name!

Separation of church and state, Tom, separation of church and state.

Why can’t the people of Kentucky keep their mentally and emotionally ill people locked up so they can get the counseling they need to regain their sanity? Someone get a straight-jacket and some psychiatric help for little Tommy.

Because Economic Times Are Hard

…And Republicans are the ‘compassionate conservative’ party

These are difficult times, mortgage foreclosures, families forced into the streets, businesses folding, the national treasury with trillions of dollars of debt on the backs of the American people…all thanks to Bush, Cheney and the compassionate, conservative rich, selfish bastard Republicans.

And then there’s this. We find out a pair of $1,000 custom-made cowboy boots were presented to all the Republican governors at their meeting last spring. Talk about ‘well-heeled’. “Move on, people -- no scandal here.”

Wonder how many homeless and hungry children all those thousands of dollars could have fed?

Terror Attacks on Mumbai

More insanity, hate and destruction from Middle-Eastern religious criminals
…this time aimed at the world’s largest democracy, India.

Middle-Eastern religious terrorists, Islamic by early accounts, have carried out a series of co-ordinated, deadly attacks across the Indian city of Mumbai (Bombay), killing at least 80 people and injuring 200 more. Yet another horrific example of the vile evil from followers of Middle-Easternism.

Why do Middle-Eastern religious followers hate peace, freedom and democracy so much?

Because Dueling Is So 18th Century

The city of Fayetteville, Arkansas is having a run-off election today for the office of Mayor. Turns out, should a tie occur, the two contestants will have their names placed in a hat and from that hat, the winner for office of Mayor will be selected. Fascinating.

“I’m a little bit nervous about the closeness of the thing because it could turn out to be a tie vote and then we’d have to draw the winner out of a hat,” John L. Burrow, Washington County Election Commission Chairman, said. “I always hate it when that happens.”

How often does that happen? Maybe they should consider scrapping the hat thing, go for the duel. Think of the drama. Sell tickets, increase city coffers with the profits.

Dueling pistols at twelve paces on the city square at high noon. Think of it. Would add a whole new level of excitement to running for Mayor.

Hat or no hat, duel or no duel, good luck to the winner in today’s race.

One of the 666 Daily Reasons

…why we should never allow Middle-Eastern ‘biblical’ law into our Western, secular legal system in the United States of America. Are you listening, Huck?:

Leviticus 25:44 states that we may legally possess slaves, both male and female. The only restriction listed is they must be purchased from neighboring nations. Should I get a Mexican slave or Canadian? Which is better? Which is more expensive to keep? What if you live on an island nation with no bordering nations? Guess it’s no slaves for you. God evidently hates island nations.

Hoping to learn something and skeptical about this Middle-Eastern biblical law allowing slavery, I asked a Christian friend about it and I believe she lied to me, or at least admitted her biblical ‘god’s will is unchangeable because it is written’ theory is all wrong. I would have thought she knew better since her father was a minister. She says we don’t have to pay attention to ‘god’s will’ if it is written in the old testament because we don’t live in old testament times. Really? She just admitted there’s no reason at all to believe in the bible, old or new, revised, original, catholic, protestant or otherwise because—following her reasoning (I use that word cautiously)—we don’t live in new testament times either. Talk about epiphany.

At least I did learn something. I never want to live on an island with no bordering nations.

Eight Disastrous Years, More On The Way

Home foreclosures at a record high…and growing.

History will not easily forget the horrific damage Bush and his incompetent, corrupt, greedy ‘faith-based’ governing minions have done.

As Austan Goolsbee said on All Things Considered, “Make no doubt about it, this is the most pressing, serious, economic crisis we have faced in seventy-five years. It is like a Hurricane Katrina hitting the entire country.”

When the flood comes, may the Bush floatation device he wears fail as miserably as his Presidency.

Mike Huckabee: Just Ignorant or Something Worse?

Of Politicians Who Fail History Tests
…Mike Huckabee is eligible for the dunce cap and a grade of "F".

As a native and resident of Arkansas, there are many great things about my state for which I’m very proud. Mike Huckabee isn’t one of them.

All of us want to stop Middle-Eastern terrorism. Huck says he does, too, but his rhetoric does not match his politics or his philosophy.

Huckabee and terrorists share a common goal

Terrorism is born from the depths of ignorance and hatred and Huckabee fits right in. His failure to understand even the most basic, yet vitally important, beginnings of our history and the laws that govern and guarantee our freedoms make him a dangerous person. Dangerous in the very way terrorists are dangerous. Both want to abolish the freedoms we cherish and that our Constitution and the Bill of Rights guarantee us. In short, Huckabee and the terrorists around the world share a common goal. Destroy individual liberties and the Western democracy of the United States to further Middle-Eastern goals.

What does your religion tell you about lying, Mike?

Huckabee has trouble with the truth and understanding history, so here’s a history fact-check to help him out. Despite the centuries of propoganda to the contrary, Christianity is a Middle-Eastern belief system. It is one of three Middle-Eastern belief systems, Judaism and Islam being the other two. Truth is they are not Western philosophies, not Western belief systems. John Frank, Times Staff Writer, in his article Politicians Fail History 101, gives us an example of Huckabee’s attempt to warp history for his own selfish ends as Huck tells us most of the signers of the Declaration of Independence were clergymen. Factually incorrect. Historically untrue. A lie. What does your religion tell you about lying, Mike? It gets worse as his insidious plan to destroy Western liberties and replace them with Middle-Eastern rules of law goes even deeper than mere ignorance of history. In an interview with MSNBC : “…that's what we need to do is to amend the Constitution so it's in God's standards rather than try to change God's standards," Huckabee said.

Mandated religious belief is not what this country was founded on.

Either Mike is dumber than dirt or evil as any other Middle-Eastern jihadist. Of the more than 2,000 different variations of religions practiced, he is pimping a Middle-Eastern version of ‘God’ to the exclusion of all other beliefs. He wants to force his brand of Middle-Easternism upon us all. Mandated religious belief is not what this country was founded on. People just like Huckabee were exactly who the Pilgrams were fleeing from in religiously war-torn Europe. Where does Mike’s reckless regard for the truth, his ignorance of American history, his preference for Middle-Easternism over the rule of Western law come from? Huckabee is a cheap, dishonest salesman Baptist Minister, a purveyor of Middle-Eastern religion, a seller for profit of that philosophy here in our Western democracy. He and those like him are after your freedoms and mine.

Here’s your dunce cap, Mike, go to the back of class and sit in the corner.
