…Revealing the idiocy of Teabaggers and the GOP on ‘socialized’ services

A friend of mine forwarded this Facebook site. If you don’t get the point, you’re probably a Teabagger and/or a member of the GOP. It plainly illustrates the idiocy of the obstructionist, anti-Obama movement’s wrong-headed philosophy that ‘socialized services’ are too expensive to be of value. It is a short-sighted, ill-conceived, hateful position. As this Facebook posting makes clear, we already have and enjoy many ‘government run socialized services’—military, police, and fire department services, to name just a few. Teabaggers and other ill-informed bleaters would have us dismantle our current government services for private company contracts. I don’t know about you but I do not want to trade our police, fire and military with the likes of private mega-corporate criminals like Halliburton and the old and murderous Blackwater (Xi).

FACT: Most Americans never use the socialized services of the fire department. The Obama administration has been very clear about keeping the status quo when it comes to taxpayer-funded fire departments.

It is time to open the fire department up to private industry. We have the best fire departments in the world in the US, but that doesn't mean that anyone (even non-US citizens) should be able to dial up and have fires put out, etc. There are private companies (Halliburton, Etc.) who could step in tomorrow and take over every fire department in America and charge the consumer directly.

This is AMERICA. NO FREE FIRE SAFETY.
